About the bicymple

The bicymple operates out of the outdoorsy town of Bellingham, Washington in the northwest corner of the USA.

Created in late 2011, the bicymple was an idea that Josh Bechtel had been developing for some time and needed to bring to reality. Bechtel partnered with co-conspirator Gabe Starbuck in 2012 and together they launched a successful Kickstarter campaign. They've since fulfilled all of their Kickstarter orders and are very near to going into production with worldwide distribution.

Bechtel's background in product and graphic design meshes perfectly with Starbuck's magic elixir of business management and neuroscience experience. Both are lifelong bicycle enthusiasts and while Bechtel can outrun Starbuck on any descent, Starbuck will laugh as he leaves Bechtel in his wake once the trail tilts up.
